Instructions Soak Off Gel 

Step 1 - The preparation
Prepare the workplace: Light curing unit, workstation light, 
Hand sanitiser, Soak Off gels, Remover Cream, brush, cell pads, nail file/buffer, cleaner, pro pusher, nail oil, nail art such as rhinestones, tattoos/stickers, glitter/powder, remover tool or rosewood sticks and cuticle nippers.

Wash, dry and disinfect hands thoroughly. 
Carefully push back the cuticles with a rosewood stick or a ProPusher. If necessary, remove the excess skin with cuticle nippers.
Our tip: Use cuticle remover!
File natural nails to the desired length and shape with a 180/240 grit nail file.
Now remove the shine from the entire natural nail with a 180 grit buffer. Important: Matte without pressure and only until there is no more shine. Do not file off the surface of the natural nail. Tip: Be careful with new nail files and buffers! These should be sharpened at the edges before use.
Thoroughly remove dust from natural nails with a dust brush or nail brush and clean with a cleaner and cellulose.
Important: Please do not touch the nails with bare fingers now.

Step 2 - The primer 
Tip: Start with one hand first and then continue with the second hand. Apply a thin layer of Soak Off Gel Rubber Base and cure it for 60 sec. in the LED light curing unit or for 120 sec. in the UV light curing unit. Do not remove the sweating layer! Important: Get as close as possible to the nail edge without touching the skin. If you do - remove it immediately with a rosewood stick! 
Tip: Allow the thumb to harden individually, as this prevents the gel from running out into the nail edge.  

Step 3 - The colour application
Important: Please note for new gel brushes: Gel brushes are rubberised for protection during storage and transport. It is essential to remove this before using them for the first time. 
Apply a small amount of Soak Off Colour Gel to the flat tip of the brush and spread the colour very thinly and evenly over the entire nail. 
Coat the tip of the nail by gently hovering the gel brush over the edge of the free end of the nail. Do this on every single nail. Cure the hand for 60 sec. in the LED light curing unit or for 120 sec. in the UV light curing unit. Do not remove the sweating layer!
Attention! Make sure that you go as far as possible to the edge of the nail and do not touch the skin. 
If using nail art stickers/tattoos and glitter powder, the next step would be to apply them before sealing the nail. 

Step 4 - The seal & care
Apply the Soak Off Gel Top Coat to the nails like nail polish and coat the edge at the free end of the nail and cure for 60 sec. in the LED light curing unit or for 120 sec. in the UV light curing unit. The sweat layer does not have to be removed! It is not necessary to clean off, as the Soak Off Gel Top Coat does not have a sweating layer. 
When using nail art rhinestones, inlays & overlays, tattoos and glitter powder, insert them into the not yet cured top coat layer. Cure the hand for 60 seconds in the LED light curing unit or for 120 seconds in the UV light curing unit.
If pigments are used, follow the same procedure as for a pigment application, as the Soak Off Gel Top Coat is also suitable for pigments.
Tip: Before sealing the pigment - carefully roughen the nail edge at the free nail end with a buffer.
Before you start with the care, the model must cool down for 1-2 minutes after hardening. This will give the nail an optimal shine. Check the side walls of the nail again for gel residue and file away if necessary. Apply nail oil to the cuticles and massage in.

 
Step 5 - The removal
Wash, dry and disinfect your hands thoroughly. 
File the entire Soak Off nail with a nail file so that the top coat is removed.
Now apply the Remover Cream to the model and leave it to work for 10-15 minutes. Try to avoid the nail fold when applying the cream.
Use a Remover Tool to remove the gel residue from top to bottom. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for stubborn gel residue.
Tip: Use a 240-grit nail file to carefully remove the rest without applying pressure.
Clean the entire nail plate with cleaner and a cellulose so that no remover and gel residue is visible. Now you can start with a new modellage (see Step 1). 
To provide the natural nail with plenty of care and nutrients, apply a thin layer of Base Coat CalciumGel to the nail and allow to air dry briefly or polish the natural nail to a high shine with a polishing file.

Tip: Finally, apply nail oil to the cuticles and massage in carefully.

Frequently asked questions:

Question: Can the Soak Off gels be applied to gel, UV varnish, acrylic and acrylic gel?
Answer: Yes, the Soak Off gels can be combined with all other system gels. However, the Soak Off effect does not apply here, as the remover would attack the other gel layers. 
Question: The gel is lifting off at the sides. What have I done wrong?
Answer: Either the gel has been modelled on or even over the cuticle. 
Question: How long does the Soak Off modellage last on natural nails?
Answer: The Soak Off gels are scratch and impact resistant and last up to 14 days.
Question: Do the Soak Off gels affect my natural nail?
Answer: The Soak Off gels do not attack the natural nail as long as the application and curing time are observed. This avoids over- or under-curing, which can be harmful to the natural nail and affect the appearance and durability.

Important notice:
The Soak Off Gel only hardens under light (UVA radiation)! Do not work in sunlit rooms or outdoors (not even in the shade!). It is best to always close the Soak Off Gel bottles and jars between working steps and place them at an appropriate distance from the UV or LED light curing unit. Store at room temperature, in a dry and dark place.
